Mr. Joshua Solano an upcoming 3rd year student in Mass Communication won the election for the position of Vice president last College Student Council (CSC) elections. Joshua ran independently, providing the students during the miting de avance his platform and plans for the next school year.
When did you decided to run for the position of the Vice President?
I know I have the capabilities to become a leader and I want to make a change in the college department. In an all-girls school a boy could lead as well.
Why run as a Vice President? Why not the other positions?
I just want to be and I know from my experiences of being a Filipino gypsy I could lead the students path to a better college experience. I will be the chisel to their minds and hopefully I could carve them into better students.
What are the changes that we will encounter this coming school year 2014-2015?
First I meant to change the equality between male and female. But the thing I want to focus the most is transparency in all academic and non-academic organizations. In my project I will require them to submit their treasurer's report every month.
How did you react when you knew that you had won the elections?
I am very happy and very excited for my term next school year.
"I will be their tinker boy I can’t live if they won’t believe in me and CSC won’t live if the students don’t believe in us."
