TCO welcomes new Mass Com students with a scare

by: Helen Kim

The Theresian Communicators’ Organization (TCO) proceeded with their Halloween themed meeting last      November 6, 2013 at St. Theresa’s        College’s Lourdes Reynes-Quisumbing (LRQ) Hall. This is despite objections from other members because of the recent calamities that hit the country recently.

The organization had been        celebrating it annually, expecting members to be in their most creative costumes.     Various costume selection was displayed during the event. Members came up with their unique costumes varying from      vampires, zombies, witches, celebrities and other fictional characters. Some of the costumes were even an original idea.

Alexandra Arrieta in her Holly Golightly costume and Shane Yapcoy in her white lady costume emerged victorious for the Best in Costume award. The        activity was the first academic                  organization meeting for the second      semester.

The meeting also served as a   welcoming activity to the new students who enrolled in the Mass Communication program.
