ABS-CBN invited the third and
fourth year students of the mass communication schools of Cebu to a career talk
last November 25, 2013 at Castle Peak Hotel.
Spearheaded by ABS-CBN Former
Head of TV Production Business Unit, Mr. Laurenti Dyogi, the career talk aimed
to recruit mass communication students from Cebu to be part of their work team
as soon as they graduate.
Dyogi oriented the students of
Saint Theresa's College-Cebu (STC), University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R),
University of San Carlos (USC) and Cebu Normal University (CNU) about the
vacant positions of the network which he wishes to be filled by young Cebuanos.
Asked why he wants Cebuanos to be
part of his team, Dyogi said "Young creative minds and energetic vibes are
the perceptions of my team of the Cebuano youth. These two are the factors we
need to improve our business standards in the years to come."
Marfena Hernandez, a fourth year
Corporate Communication Major, shared her experience, "I am overwhelmed of
the many opportunities a communicator like me is getting. I am thankful for
ABS-CBN for this event."
